The One with All the Babies

Two friends of mine had babies on Thursday, July 19. Their birth stories couldn't have been more different. Poor S had a nightmare of a week. 34 hours in labor, 2 hours of pushing, then a C-section to get baby M out. She did not want to join us! Unfortunately, her mom was still recovering (hope you're doing better S!), so we did mostly just baby pics. This was my first newborn shoot. I've decided it's not in me to be the type of newborn photographer that's getting popular these days. I don't do baskets. I do natural life. Lifestyle photography. That's me.

Once S is better, we'll get a few more. Until then, little M's a cutie!

I'll be back later with baby B's newborn pics. Until then, enjoy this cuteness.

Putting on her super cute sock monkey outfit.

See how cute the monkey suit is? :)

Had to throw in this outtake :)

The One with Some Exciting News...

It's late. And I want to go to sleep. But I'm SO excited to share the fact that I'm officially booked for April 6, 2013. I appreciate their support and look forward to capturing their big day!

They're a super happy, laid back couple. Couldn't ask for better clients :)

Enjoy these again. Now it's time for bed...

The (First) One at the Pool

The parents have a pool. Since they love their pool so much, they're always looking for reasons to have people over. Also, they love to have kids there to enjoy the pool. That's why The J family were invited over for swimming and dinner, in that order.

Kendall was pretty comfortable in the pool. I enjoyed my time on the side, camera in hand.

The nieces are coming in town soon. Can't wait to snap away while they're here!

Jumping to Daddy

It looks like she's jumping here. I wish! Still looks cool, though...

The One in London

Even though it's been more than a year, I'm happy to talk about our honeymoon (and our wedding, but I wasn't taking pictures that day). :)

So, planning our honeymoon wasn't easy. We knew we didn't want to do the standard all-inclusive beach trip. We knew Europe was where we wanted to go. I think we could have gone anywhere and been happy, but we narrowed it down to the big cities: London, Paris and Rome. Once we got over the cost issue (tough pill to swallow, but we know it was the best decision now), we couldn't have been more ready to go.

So, first stop, London. Red eye over (exhausting). Arrived at our hotel (after A LOT of walking) mid-afternoon. Showered up, headed out. Here's a little taste of Day 1.

Buckingham Palace

We were there a week before William married Kate in the wedding of the century. We got to see the set up and signs like this all over the place.

First drinks in London. Happy husband. :)

Pretty amazing city

From the London Eye

Last shot of the night. Day 1: complete. I'll run through the whole honeymoon a day at a time. I'm not even sure if anyone's reading this, but I'm enjoying reliving it, so I guess I don't really care! :)

The One where Kendall Turns Three

Kendall is three. And she makes the BEST faces. She's not real comfortable with the forced smile yet, and it makes for some awesome pictures.

Have fun checking out these pretty kids. I know I had fun taking the pictures :)

Kendall's mom, Andrea, made these beautiful, and delicious, cupcakes. She's a bit of a baking genius.

Thus begins the funny faces

Even looking at Mommy making funny faces

Kisses = less funny faces

Only a little scary

Fish face :)

Kendall's cousin - 7 days old and so precious :)

Actually got in a picture or 2...

Pretty eyed Brooklyn

Love the tutu

Oh baby toes :)

Sharing with her cousin!
